|2:00PM LECTURE BY FELIPE R. MIRABAL. Join us at the Museum of Spanish Colonial Art to learn more about Don Bernardo de Miera y Pacheco as we celebrate the 300th anniversary of his birth. Reservations are required. (505-982-2226)|
|LUNCHEON WITH THE ARTISTS will be a must at the Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza Hotel. A popular event and unique opportunity to discuss art, and to get to know one of the artists personally. Guests can purchase a table for 10 (9 guests seats plus one for the artist) is $500, and individual tickets are $55 each. |MEMBERS PREVIEW. Spanish Colonial Arts Society members and their guests are invited to the annual Preview Party at the Santa Fe Convention Center where the Adult and Youth award winners will be revealed. Preview tickets will be mailed to all members according to their membership levels and additional tickets may be purchased by calling the Museum of Spanish Colonial Art.|

Come celebrate Spanish Market with James Campbell Caruso the chef/owner of La Boca, one of the hottest restaurants in Santa Fe. As James continues to explore the flavors of Spain, you will taste dishes from La Boca’s new tapas menu that are fun and deliciously beyond ordinary. The menu will include shrimp paella nigiri, beet and morcilla pancakes, potato chip tortilla with crab and Moroccan carrot salad with date leather. This is a demonstration class that includes recipes and a full meal.

• Paella Demonstration 11:00AM The Spanish Table 109 N Guadalupe St. The staff at the Spanish Table will demonstrate how to make a traditional Spanish paella. A tasting follows the preparation.
• The Bandstand. Enjoy your favorite New Mexican groups as they entertain throughout the weekend.
|MARKET MASS. Join us at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi beginning at 8:00AM followed by a Mariachi lead procession to the Bandstand for a Market Blessing by Archbishop Sheehan. • And of course join us for a full line-up of entertainment on the bandstand Saturday and Sunday during Market Hours. Highlights will include Darren Cordova y Calor, Cuarenta y Cinco and Institute for Spanish Arts – Next Generation Flameco Dancers as well as other New Mexican entertainers. While enjoying the music, you can also feast on local fare from our Spanish Market Food Court.
